Using ShedTime

ShedTime is a practice tool: metronome, sight reading, scales, technique and chords. You may use it for your own practice and teaching. Please don't misuse it: no attempts to break, overload or copy the service, get around its plan limits, or use it to harm anyone.

Plans, passes and prices

• The Free plan is free. Some features are part of paid plans; see Plans & pricing.
• Paid plans are not on sale yet. Prices shown are a preview and may change before launch. When they open, the price, billing period and how to cancel will be shown clearly before you pay.
• Guest pass codes unlock a plan for a limited time on the device where they're entered. They have no cash value, can't be sold, and may be limited or ended at any time.
• Early-bird pricing will be offered to people on the early-bird list as described in our emails.

Things you send us

Feedback, ideas and reviews you send help us build ShedTime. You keep ownership of what you write, and you let us use it to improve ShedTime. We only publish a review if you gave permission, word for word, with the name you chose, and we'll remove it if you ask. Please don't send anything you don't have the right to share, or personal information about other people.

Teachers and assignments

Teachers can share assignment links with students. Teachers are responsible for sharing them only with their own students, and for following their school's rules.

Our content

The ShedTime app, name, logo and design belong to us. The exercises the app generates are for your practice and teaching, and you're welcome to print or share them with your students.

Protect your hearing

Keep the volume comfortable, especially with headphones, and take breaks during long practice sessions.

No guarantees

We work hard to make ShedTime accurate and reliable, but it's provided "as is". We can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or right for every purpose. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using ShedTime, and our total liability is limited to what you've paid us in the past 12 months (or $0 on the Free plan).

Changes and ending

We may update ShedTime and these terms as the app grows. If we make an important change, we'll update the date above and let people know. You can stop using ShedTime at any time. We may suspend access for anyone who misuses it.
